About this product

Product Information

Take the world by storm and see how well you do against national teams with "2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil." Developed by EA Sports for the PlayStation 3, it comes packed with all the action you expect. Released in 2014, it comes loaded with new features that make the gameplay more realistic than ever before. One way to play is via the Road to Rio De Janeiro. Also known as its campaign mode, you play against a handful of FIFA competitors. After winning a certain number of games, compete for the World Cup. This is the first title to follow the matches that were actually played by the real competitors. You also have the option of playing online against others from around the world. Once you make it through the qualifying rounds, you play the final match. Winning lets you walk away with the Cup.Electronic Arts added FIFA Fan Fest to this PS3 title. The organization uses this feature to let fans watch the top matches with others. As you play, you watch those fans checking out your performance. Each time you play a match, you also see a stadium filled with fans watching your every move. This adds a more immersive feeling to video games. Those fans root and cheer for you as you race across the field.EA Sports licensed the uniforms worn by characters to add to the overall realistic feel. More than 200 teams qualified to enter the World Cup in 2014. Each of those national teams appear on your screen. They even come dressed in the exact same uniforms that they wore on the field. Some of those athletes wear more generic costumes that still let you know which country they come from. This PS3 title also comes with several songs that include two played during live matches. One of those songs is the Coca-Cola theme song. Coca-Cola was one of the major sponsors of this tournament and gave Electronic Arts the right to use its song. Another popular song features Jennifer Lopez and rapper Pitbull. Hear both those songs and many others playing in the background. More than 30 songs appear on the soundtrack. You also have full access to two channels. One of those channels features legendary broadcaster Andy Goldstein. Goldstein comments on your progress and how well your team performs. If you change the channel, you hear commentary from the Men in Blazers. Both are available via the Talk Radio section. The comments you hear change based on how your team plays. "2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil" for the PS3 is a very realistic soccer video game. Join in with the action for an amazing thrill. The game puts you in the role of captain. You call the shots and make the plays necessary to win against teams from around the globe.

One of the Pinnacle soccer games ever.

FIFA 14 is considered one of if not the greatest soccer games ever. 2013 was the peak of EA and The World Cup game was no slouch. EA FIFA World Cup 2014 delivered what games of today can't. The true atmosphere of the World Cup. What makes this game better than the rest is the game modes. Road to the cup where you can take any country (200+) from the very early stages of qualifying all the way to the promise land. Captain a Squad where you are the captain of the team and many others. With a later software update, the game play was improved and balanced. If you're a collector or a true fan of the sport, this is a must have.

  • Nice experience fpr living the world cup on your own.

Excellent game. I'm a gamer, and I also love soccer. That's why I've always bought all EA Sports FIFA World Cup games, since the very first, FIFA World Cup France '98 for Nintendo 64, Korea-Japan 2002 and Germany 2006 for Play Station 2, South Africa 2010 for Play Station 3, and now the last one: Brazil 2014, for the same console. It's an excellent game. Commentaries mention footbollers names, it's quite exciting. You can play all the qualifying, or only soccer world cup. This game is very realistic. Furthermore, you've got a lot of challenges for playing different versions of other soccer world cup that really took place. Graphics get better a lot, everytime EA Sports improve their quality in graphics and realism, movements, skills and so on. I recomend this game at all. It is spoken in ...
