Holding power!
bottle jacks in general are excellent tools. as long as the quality is reasonable, and they do the job, at the weights expected, you will find me a fan of the unit. in this case, I am restoring a 1939-40 Ford Tractor. this jack will become the backbone of the stand that will hold the entire tractor and let ne separate it into its component parts. take the body off, then the front axle, then motor.... you get the idea. then to hold it long enough to restore the parts and install then as you go. this thing could be holding more than a thousand pounds indefinitely. I feel it will not be the weak link. Blessed life to all, and let peace be in the world.
