    Bad sensor

    Replaced the original sensor after a check engine light indicated that the sensor is bad. Reset the on board computer after putting in this new sensor and light came back on after 10 miles. Took car to a shop and after $450 wire tracing to determine if a wire was exposed (none found), a brand name sensor was put on the vehicle and no more light. This sensor was bad when installed.
