After cycling through cheaper/more affordable wireless headphones, I can safely say this is worth it. I don’t know how much I would have collectively spent on headphones that didn’t last and more importantly, did not have good audio quality. I primarily bought these for exercise, but haven’t done much of that in actuality. So far, they’ve been great for noise cancelling (5/5), fit over my big head and around my big ears COMFORTABLY (5/5), don’t have any annoying beeping sounds while functioning (like voice indicators or beeps when a new song starts) (5/5), work perfectly for phone calls and teleconferencing (5/5), have noticeably good battery power, though this decreases when NC is active, as expected (5/5). As a plus, the carrying case is the most compact of all the wireless headphones I have had (and almost looks cute, for something that typically isn’t). The most important feature of this purchase is that the audio quality is SO CLEAN. Blissfully enjoying all the high fidelity audio. Did I mention the noise cancelling is excellent? Easily sat through a thunderstorm in these, unknowingly. Very happy that I found these after the updated version was released. VERY HAPPY WITH THESE HEADPHONES!!!!! Thank you Sony! Read full review

The noise reduction features are superb, better in my opinion than those of comparable Bose headphones (I own Bose Quiet Comfort 25s and 35s), but I much prefer Bose for music even though some critics say the opposite. That may just be my personal music sonic preferences. The app from Sony is excellent, allowing you to customize virtually every feature (and there are many). All in all, I am very pleased with them and would recommend them.

Incredibly comfortable and lightweight. Incredible call quality and noise cancellation. I also like that you can connect to multiple devices and switch from the Sony Headphones app. By the way, the app has always been a great feature. Aside from the fact that Sony removed NFC from this model, I'm more than satisfied. A huge upgrade for me coming from the XM3 model.

Pros: these headphones sound amazing. I wanted to upgrade my Beats Solo3 wireless headphones. As a user of all things Apple, I debated purchasing the AirPod Max. However, these headphones are more universally compatible. Additionally, without converting, they can plug directly into the audio out or headphone jack on almost any device. Another convenient feature is the ability to connect to two different devices simultaneously. The other thing I like about the headphones is the color. Although titled silver, it is more of a bone or matte silver color. Unlike white, which is prone to yellowing, I suspect this color will hold up. Last, I use dictation daily on my MacBook computer for teaching when writing student feedback. My traditional microphone setup always leaves some to be desired regarding errors. These headphones pick up my voice flawlessly. Cons: the design of the headphones is entirely plastic. I have seen many photographs of people selling broken headphones. Therefore, one should treat these carefully, always carrying them in the case. I am scared that they are not as durable as they could be. Additionally, the ear pads will last a long time. Because they are synthetic, scientists should be able to design an ear pad that will not break down over time for a product this good. Although they are comfortable, I don't think any headphones can be as comfortable as listening to a good set of speakers in our room by oneself. Finally, there are a lot of features available from touching the right speaker, but they could be more intuitive. It will take some reading of the manual to figure everything out. But the good thing is that they work without all of those features. If you're going to or can afford to pay retail price for the headphones, go to a store, such as Best Buy, where you can listen to them in the store for yourself. Try them with classical music so you can see the full dynamic range. These are an amazing purchase if you're looking for super high-quality headphones for a significant discount! They came literally as if they were brand new with absolutely no marks or signs that they're refurbished. I've only had them for a little bit but so far a 10/10 for sure. Definitely one of the best purchases I've ever made haha
