    Decent drive, high shipping and handling costs

    The drive works just fine; I had to replace a MK-4004GAH that started to give errors in a lap top that had a very specific form factor and connection requirement. I just hope this refurbished drive has no remaining problems left by the manufacturer. The shipping and handling seemed excessive though; $10+ on a $36 item, plus tax on BOTH the item AND S&H, took away any cost advantage from this vendor (eBay is about getting stuff cheap). I might understand tax charged by a foreign vendor on the item, but on the shipping as well?

    MK6006GAH HDD

    I bought Toshiba MK6006GAH HDD, HD1544 60GB, on FEB 21, 2010. FEB 25 received.I installed this HDD for motion computer LE-1600. Full format for NTFS, Fast boot time, Work good. Case was have two popping. Installed Windows XP System. No noise sound. no bad sectors. Micro size, about business card sizs, big cap. 60GB. Low battery power use, and light weight IDE/EIDE Interface. 50 pin

    Excellent replacement part

    As far as I know, this is the only 60 gig hard-drive for the iPod Photo. I had to replace my first drive because of a two story drop, and the second because it never worked completely correctly (it drained my battery, caused system crashes, and never reported volume size correctly). However, this second replacement (and third drive over-all) works like a dream. My iPod works as well now as the day I bought it. My only complaint is the apparent inconsistency in drive quality - my second drive was awful for the above mentioned reasons, but this third drive is wonderful.

    Mini drive

    Sweet little hard drive. Portable, light, good capacity, decent speed. The interface isn't as standard as your regular drives, but you can find the right connections to make it work.

    Solid Hard Drive

    I have always had good luck with Toshiba products, both in life longevity and quality. This 1.8 hard drive is no different. It is very quite and runs quick.
