  • Great Beatles Collectable, Great Sound, Great Release!

I rally like this set as a great Beatles collectable. Each CD is a replica of an original UK single with individual picture sleeves in a sturdy box (however the box top seems flimsy). These is a pre-remaster product but the sound is quite good, better than the previous 3" singles. It is not very easy to listen to as there are only 2 songs on each disc, I ripped them to lossless flac and burned them to just a couple of CDs, much easier to listen to without the constant disc swap. I also have the Rolling Stones Singles sets and did the same thing with them. Be careful when buying this set, the first one I bought had a duplicate CD and one missing. As far as the prices these go for I think is a little high, but they are out of print.

  • Compact Disc Singles Collection Box- The Beatles

As a Beatles fan I don't mind paying for music that I already possess in various formats as long as the sound has been improved. As for this replicated 22 single cd set, to me its worth it. I love the idea of having the original artwork picture sleeves of each single. If Apple Corps decided to do the same with the original US Capitol sleeves, I would buy them as well.Nostalgia,yes.As long as the recodings are recreated to reproduce the best possible sound then it appeals to me.I'm a baby boomer, so packaging still appeals to me. Everything I have purchased through e-bay has come to me in a timely fashion as well as in great condition.

  • The Beatles singles set.
