    MT351R Talkabout issues

    I bought four units at first. One crapped out after a month- cannot receive at all. I then bought two additional units. One has trouble receiving - scratchy. I may open the two bad units and spray with electronics cleaner. I don't think it's worth the effort to try to return and get fixed. Have not tried other channels/squelch codes which might fix both problems.

    Motorola talkabout 2 way radio

    The Motorola Talkabout radios are as they are advertised. The range is somewhat deceiving as it will not carry the 35 miles but that is expected. The topography has a great deal to do with range. They are very clear and easy to use. I am a hunter and plan to be able to communicate with the rest of my party using them. I recommend they highly.
