    Great hunting knife

    This knife is great for hunting, field dressing without cutting more than the skin with the tool in the handle, and cleaning,quartering is easy with the knife. I sharpened mine before hunting, but i never use a factory edge.

    Knife is OK but handle is cheap

    The knife is OK. The handle is made cheaply. It feels very cheap and it looks like it's molded with cheap chinese toy plastic. The handle is also too short for my hands. Maybe in smaller hand it would be OK but it's just too small for may hands. The tool is a nice feature however it rattles around in the handle. They should have made the handle more solid and put the tool on the sheave. I would not recommend anyone buying this.

    Love this blade

    Love this blade. Has great handle, solid steel blade with good sharpness. Only problem is that it's a bit hard to get used to left side carry since it's designed for right hand carry. But still great knife for price

    Sentimental Value is Priceless

    After losing my late Dad's Old Timer Bowie Knife, likewise from Schrade, I haven't found a suitable replacement, mainly due to the sentimental value, until now. I wish I could show him how awesome this blade is and give it to him as an apology for losing his well kept relic.

    worthless serrations

    The knife itself is of excellent quality, the concealed tool a great idea. But the serrations on the top of the blade, which should be for sawing through small limbs are worthless. I had to take the initiative and grind these serrations to where they would be useful. Either remove the factory serrations completely, or grind them so that that are useful.
