The Little Engine That Could
These are nice entry level locomotives for anyone just getting into the American Flyer model train hobby. They are very simple locomotives, no smoke, no choo-choo, no headlight, not much to go wrong. Clean them up, a few drops of oil here and there and it's good to go. These are good runners but they are designed to pull light weight cars. Look for freight cars with pike-master couplers if you would like to pull 5 or 6 cars. You can use knuckle couplers which are much more durable but since the cars are usually heavier it can pull less, maybe only 3 or 4.These are nice entry level locomotives for anyone just getting into the American Flyer model train hobby.
