  • Good flash for Nikon D1X

Brought SB28DX for my Nilon D1X DSLR. All the reviews claimed this was the one to use on this model as it was first class. Price was right so I purchased it. I have only used it once and results seem fine. Nothing exceptional but it does the job for the right price.

  • I should have waited and got a SB-400

I bought the flash to use with my Coolpix P7100. I don't regret buying the flash but it is a bit big when mounted on the camera. I think I'll purchase a SB-400 unit instead. The SB 28 would be more suitable for a DSLR.
