It's not a magneto optical drive in a USB connected enclosure, but rather a standard 123 GB PATA hard drive in a FireWire (IEEE 1394) port equipped enclosure. But it's fully functional, clean, and flawless, and was well and efficiently packaged and promptly shipped. So it's a good value and I'm pleased. The discrepancies seem likely to be innocent errors in which the seller simply wasn't familiar with the technical characteristics and had no means to test the device. In any case I'm pleased!
