New regulator fits my 1999 weber 1100
I have a 1999 Weber 1100 grill with the old quick-connect LP tank. When I took the filler adapter and the LP tank to be refilled, they could not do it. So after googling a bit, I found that it was past time to upgrade the regulator and tank. The old regulator came off easily. After buying the pipe dope, the new regulator installed and connected to the new tank easily and the soapy bubble test worked.I have a 1999 Weber 1100 grill with the old quick-connect LP tank. OK...not leaking anywhere!!
I thought I was going to have to return this product as it was hissing and leaking gas...same as the one replaced. I finally found that turning the regulator upside down kept it from leaking. So far, so good!
