Reviews
"The dishes are wonderfully evocative of the charm that underlies all of Redwall...[but] the real appeal of this book lies in its gorgeously rendered and finely detailed illustrations...this gastronomical visit to the Abbey will be enjoyed by Redwall devotees." --School Library Journal

Between confusing my tracking information for another order (making me think my package had been delivered states away), my book having completely different cover art than the image used in the eBay listing, my book not being packed well and suffering some damage, as well as the other shady behavior listed in other reviews (like my book coming from Amazon and the seller immediately jacking up the price of the original listing after my purchase), I'd say this is a shady seller to entirely avoid.

Book was as described. Charged a lot for shipping and never gave any tracking information. Also, this book was sold to me before they had it in hand apparently. A packing slip for Amazon was found with a cheaper price and later date than when I bought the book.

It’s a great book, but this one I received was not in the condition it was advertised. When it arrived, a cheaper price tag was left on it for this reason but I was never refunded the original/ higher amount that I paid for a better quality book. Seller did not resolve. Very disappointed.

    Good recipes

Good cookbook for kids. Easy to follow instructions. All the recipes are vegetarian, except for a few that have shrimp. My kids enjoy making and eating the dishes.

  • A Delightfully Delectable Collection Of Superb Recipes!

Even if you have never read one of Brian Jacques' memorable tales, once you have picked up this charming cookbook, with its engaging poems and endearing stories, you will most defiantly be captivated by his friendly creatures (not to mention the simply amazing food!). This book travels through the four seasons, each with a marvelous feast of course! From the Spingtide Sunfeast and Summer Orchard Picnic Tea, to the Autumn Harvest Homefeast and the most looked forward to, Abbey Wintersnow Ball! Featuring such recipes as: Hare's Pawspring Vegetable Soup, Abbot's Special Abbey Trifle, Honeybaked Apples, Summer Strawberry Fizz, Mole's Faveorite Deeper'nEver Turnip'n'Tater'n'Beetroot Pie, Loamhedge Legacy Nutbread, & Rubbadeedubb Pudd. To name but a few... I most certainly recommend buying ...

  • Fun for children!

My children LOVE the Redwall series. The book is arranged by season and has season short stories that are engaging. They are excited to make all the recipes in it.

  • A must-have if you love the Redwall books

I bought this for my husband and me since we enjoy the Redwall stories. The food served at the feasts always sounded so interesting, and we often wondered what it would taste like. The Redwall cookbook has recipes for things like October ale and honeybaked apples (yum!!), and also little stories and illustrations with each section. Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of the books.

  • Cool!!!

Another great addition to my Redwall collection.
