Overall this was a good purchase. I’d have a couple of minor points I could nitpick but the truth is that overall it was a good purchase at a nice price. The seller was responsive and I can’t complain how it was packaged. I received exactly what I ordered, in a timely manner.

The item shipped quickly and was packed carefully. There was a glitch in the order; however, they responded very quickly when I wrote to them and took care of the glitch to my satisfaction. Communication was excellent. I am happy with the item I received and the service.

Works like a charm to cut back on cords

Thunderbolt peripherals are expensive but this is one item worth having. It gets me connected to my printer, external monitor, external hard drive, USB Hub, and wired keyboard with ports to spare. Of note, it does not come with a HDMI port but I already had a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter on hand to hook up my existing DVI monitor.

  • Good product just one minor issue

It is well worth the priced paid good speed Mac OS sees it right away but windows doesn't use it correctly but windows in VM no issue pass through to monitor at 1440p no issue Good buy if you have a 2011 mac with no USB 3.0 and one thunderbolt port FYI keyboard connected to USB doesn't work on cold boot but will if waking up from sleep mode and my power soul broke but easy fix with getting a replacement online

  • Thunderbolt Dock for USB 3.0

We have an older Macbook and the dock let us connect to super economical USB 3.0 drives (as well as simplify the wire nest on our laptop and gave us the ability to use a firewire external monitor along with all the drives.)

  • Great piece of hardware!

Works really well with my 2011 i5 Mac Mini. Adding some usb3 is nice and I still have a thunderbolt port open for my raid drives. Does the job at a decent price and speeds up the system some.

  • Better then the overpriced OWC model if your a Mac User

Perfectly capable for handling a small amount of inputs. I'm a Pro tools mixer and Premiere editor. I recently upgraded from a 2010 desktop mac pro to a 2013 desktop trash can Mac Pro. One of the main things I needed was Firewire 800 input. A Firewire 800 to thunderbolt 2 adapter worked fine then a friend gave me the Belkin thunderbolt 2dock. With Firewire 800 plus a couple of USB's connected it works perfectly. If your in the market and your a MAC user I would recommend this over the OWC unit.
