The Cartoon Network's surreal series about the feats of a brave 14-year-old and his shape-shifting dog companion comes to gamers for the first time in Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?! As the title suggests, the story finds Finn and Jake on a quest to teach the Ice King a lesson for stealing their trash and constructing the Garbage Princess. The classically styled action adventure find players exploring the Land of Ooo by travelling across an overworld map, taking on side-scrolling levels, and engaging in some old-school dungeon crawling.<br><br>Featuring a story penned by series creator Pendleton Ward, Adventure Time sends gamers to the Grass Lands, the Candy Kingdom, Red Rock Pass, and the Ice Kingdom, and puts them in contact with familiar characters like Princess Bubblegum, Lady Rainicorn, Tree Trunks, and Marceline. Players use their stylus and touch screen to help Finn unleash fist smashes and sword thrusts, while Jake's special powers can be used to turn him into a boat, a bridge, or a giant version of himself. There's plenty of treasure to collect along the way, and gamers can combine found food items and condiments to unlock new special powers.

    Great for a open world 2d action game

    The only problem is that the game is too short. I think it goes around less than 10 hours of gameplay even if you did all the quests and collected upgrades. Everything else seems at the very lest fine, except for the cheesy music, but it is worth it if you liked Legend of Zelda 2 and any sort of beat-em-ups.

    What time is it?!?!?!?!

    It’s Adventure Time! And it’s about time, too, as fans of this most mathematical Cartoon Network animated series have been waiting for a proper video game version of Finn and Jake’s hilarious adventures ever since the show first debuted two and a half years ago. There have been some browser games and an iOS app in the meanwhile, but now, finally, we have an honest-to-goodness Adventure Time adventure to enjoy.
