Item purchased was listed as new in the package undamaged but arrived clearly damaged to the point it does not work at all. I was told I couldn’t have a refund even though it was damaged because the item was also described “as is”. When I pointed out it was listed as undamaged and I should get a return I was told I can have a refund when seller receives item but I pay return shipping but because he’s not sending me an actual refund link it’s barely worth all the effort to send it back.

I tried contacting the buyer - they would NOT respond. eBay COVERED (settled) the dispute by offering the buyer their money back but did not remove the funds from my account. Obviously, the item was damaged in shipping but the buyer would NOT confirm or deny this.
