Battery was brand new as described. This is new-old stock. The battery I got was from 2006. Battery lasts about 4 hours as when it was new. Apple states it lasts 6 hours, but that's with no WiFi or Bluetooth on and screen brightness at 50%. Usable battery is 3-4 hours tops with everything turned on with brightness down some. Charges great, does not get hot/overheat. I am running Lubuntu 18.04.5, a super lightweight OS, but powerful on my 2,1 Macbook.Battery was brand new as described. This is new-old stock.
