    Jim Ryun Biography

    If you are a fan of Jim Ryun, you will enjoy this book. I have had a copy for many years, and just gave mine away as a gift, so I got a new one here on Ebay. It gives a fairly quick review of Jim's career up until the Olympics. Probably my biggest criticism is that there are a lot of details left out from his high school years. I am hoping to get a copy of another book, "The Jim Ryun Story" which ends at 1968, in hopes of getting more details from that period. This book deals with the period of time into the 70's when Jim had retired from running and had a young family, but had not started into politics. It also details his growth in faith. As I said, if you are a fan of Jim Ryun, you'll want this book for your collection, if you don't already have it... I believe that there may ...

    This is a great Motivational book for any runner.

    As a coach, I am looking for ways to inspire my athletes to do better, not just in their training, but in their life. This book about Jim Ryan is a favorite, I buy one whenever I can and give it to my runners as graduation presents. I am hoping this will get their life on the right path. What I dislike about it is that it is no longer in print. Finding them gets harder every year.

    A great book for anyone that loves competition and even more so for any runners. A hard book to find because it is not in print. Glad to get it for my runner son.
