About this product

Product Information

You May Ask Yourself gives instructors an alternative to the typical textbook by emphasizing the big ideas of the discipline and encouraging students to ask meaningful questions. This "non-textbook" strategy explains complex concepts through personal examples and storytelling, integrates coverage of social inequality throughout the textbook, and offers the largest collection of instructor resources for a book in its price range.

Reviews
Honestly, I loved this book. It was so much more interesting than the other assigned readings, and reading You May Ask Yourself was the only assignment I always had done., For once, I was actually excited about reading a textbook. It seemed as if the author was talking directly to me at times.

It's Good Friday and this book on the Eucharist arrived --- had to start reading it to learn about the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. This item was delivered early and was packaged well in a protective bubble mailer rather than a poly bag that other sellers use. Very pleased with the quality of the book as it was accurately described. Book content is excellent. Would buy from this seller again.

Red’s Corner, that’s the name of a bar I once patronized as a “yute.” Just finished the book and enjoyed it very much. The condition was as described, the price was more than fair and the shipping a tad slow. Blame the Post Office these days, they’re beginning to emulate the DMV. Would certainly buy from this seller again.

It is a good book if you are starting out learning about Sociology. It is easy to read and understand which I like as a college student.
