This is THE book for true Beatle fans, not full of silly stories we've all heard 5000 times but more of a reference book. It simply states what was done in the studio for each song on a particular day, Mark Lewisohn being the lead engineer at Abbey Road at the time. The way I got into it was listening to "in my life " by John. The keyboards in the middle 8 didn't sound like John's nor Paul's style so I found this book and since you can go to the appendix and look up a particular song I did and got my answer. TOO COOL. (BTW, it was George Martin) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book
An abundance of information about their recording sessions from the beginning to the end…a must have if you love their music.
