Works great, makes delicious waffles. I already have the Villaware that makes the big thinner waffle and wanted this one that makes the three Belgian kind in the mini version. I like this one better but my husband likes the other one best, but doesn't matter because I just make a bunch and put in the freezer. Easy to take out and toast in the morning. I think these vintage waffle makers are superior to the ones in the stores.

This is the best Pizzelle iron that I have ever used! the nonstick surface is great, the weight is prefect on the irons. My family has been making Pizzelle's all my life, in trying to carry on a family tradition you have to have a good piece of equipment to do the job right . Believe me I have brought other irons and threw them away, this one is a keeper!

Buzzer has a somewhat annoying tone. but what a great trade off for making a perfect waffle. As of yet have had zero issues with sticking, or over/under cooked waffles. Consistent performance I've come to count on every time. If you can find one of these waffle makers, you can too. Yes, I would recommend this one to all: )

No idea why discontinued, a classic style waffle is easily my preferred style of waffle. Machine is very simple to use, it's non-stick is impeccable, but still; always use non-stick spray. It's design is not faulty either like most $20-30 models you see. Excellent purchase if you need waffles in your life.
