I own a 2017 Indian Roadmaster. I moved to West Texas from the Seattle/Tacoma area and the temperature difference is night and day. The engine heat, coupled with the high temperature here is insane. The saddle heat shield helps to keep my inner thigh from roasting. It’s easy to install and it compliments the look of the bike as well as being functional (except at stoplights). My only complaint...when I have to adjust the air in my shock, the side panel has to be removed. The heat shield prevents this unless, you bend it upwards and muscle the panel off as well as back on. It does scratch the paint but only slightly. Besides that, it’s worth the money and it’s a great look to your Indian Roadmaster, Springfield or Chieftain.I own a 2017 Indian Roadmaster. need better design for Indian Chieftain
Doesn't fit well for Indian Chieftain, especially on left side. Tank bolt and nut are recessed and the saddle shield isn't designed for that. Needs to be of better design for Indian Bike. Also it interferes with the sparkplug boot on left side.
