The Scriptures is YHVH's Word for Today
I LOVE this version of the Bible! The Scriptures are a compact size with a sturdy but soft cover; the font is dark and legible and of a readable size. Best of all the Father's name is given in any verse as it was originally written, as is the name of Jesus...YESHUA! Anyone meaning to seek the Hebrew roots of their faith should own this book. I would highly recommend this version and it has virtually replaced my KJV which has been my "old friend" for almost sixty five years. There is a feel about this Bible, a holy richness. One of the closet ways to the truth you will find
If you truly seek truth in scripture, look here and forget about the KJV or other bibles. Our Father's real name is in here and translations are not twisted for hidden agendas. The Messiah's real name is also in here, as well as the real names of other persons in biblical history... not watered down "English" variations. The KJV has about 15,000 mistakes in it...9000 intentional for purposes of deceiving us. Research it... and you will see it's true. Take a shot at this bible... you will be pleasantly surprised... and maybe upset with the clergy who have lied to you all these years! Great Seller, by the way..... Old and New Testaments support each other
Some names a little difficult to pronounce but I love that they are in their native languages. Reading the verses in their original context changes the flow of old to new testament. Real leather, real names, perfect size.
This is the second one I have purchased. Lost one in moving. I love this Bible. I like the real names in it. I don't like the fact that the names in the KJV are not right and that it has gone on this long. I don't like people mispronouncing my name either. I read the one review where the person didn't like the words set apart in this Bible, but personally I do, because it makes you realize that some things are more "special" than others. I like the size. It is a unique size. Almost square. The leather is soft and smells good. The writing is a bit small, but in good light I can still read it with my cataracts, but I am ordering a magnifying bar from ChristianBooks for times when I need it. They have one that lays flat on the page with a highlighted bar. I like the smaller writing. Doesn't have the gold edges, but that is o.k. I like that this Bible is simple. No comments, no notes, no blah blah blah. Read it for yourself and make up your own mind. The maps are absolutely beautiful and on heavier paper at the back of the book. Has weights and measures and monies page in the back also with a few pictures of what things in the Bible looked like. It is a very nice Bible with everything compacted into it. Best Bible Ever
I have used the Institute for Scripture Research "The Scriptures" for the last 8 years. The Scriptures is the only version of the bible that is a very close translation of the original Torah Scroll, Writings, and Prophets, as well as the letters of the Messianic Scriptures. I purchased this smaller size version in the soft cover style to use as a travel bible. The translations are exact, clear, and easy to read. The updates to the format, the verse notes, use of the proper spelling of names, as well as the maps and explanatory notes in the back make for a very good study bible.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to read and Correct Translations
This Bible is from a non-501c3 company, based in Africa, and uses origional Greek & Hebrew sources for translating, bypassing all the errors that NIV and KJV has imparted to our modern translations (such as the word Church). It is easy to read, powerful, and always a source of attention in the Ekklesia world, drawing people’s attention by it’s striking, but smooth verbiage and correctness. The book itself is a hardcover, but it has a softness to it too, making it appear more like leather. The font is probably an 11 or 12 point and has no footnotes or anything to distract. Simple structure throughout the books with the simple biblical truth in an authorative Bible. It does have both the English and Hebrew Bible names at the top. Will take some getting use to the Hebrew names for the characters though (English letters for those) and a couple of the bible books are in a different order than standard. - Can write in pen or pencil in the pages and doesn’t bleed through as long as you aren’t using a gel pen.

Purchased because of the use of hebrew names I was super excited to find out it has easy to to use reference for when a passage is quoted you can follow the reference verse and read it in each location. The title is excellent.
I like the scriptures pocket size bible because it is genuine cowhide leather, it has all the exact content as the larger bibles. Absolutely love this bible. I have been reading and studying it for weeks since I received it. Love the fact that the creators name is in Hebrew as well as the Messiah's name. Like that it has the Hebrew and English names of the books in the bible. This is absolutely a good purchase and very well translated.
