    “The” Tank Cleaning Magnet

    Best I have Used.

    These are without doubt the best mag clreaners I have ever used and I have tried a lot of different brands, do yourself a favor and get the version with the add on scraper blade, its fantastic for getting into the corners of tanks, and shifting green spot and BBA.

    Indispensable for keeping glass clean and hands dry.

    I've been using this product for years and it works great. use often before slime layer becomes the hard green stuff. I say it's a good value it"s hard to do without and it lasts for years. You can refurbish it with new pads and it's good as new, but I can't understand why the large ones are over $100. It's just plastic, magnets, and velcro.

    Scrubbing the algae!

    It's easier to use than the brush to get algae off the aquarium glass, but haven't used extensively yet, but does work well on the small areas I've tried. I have a weird shaped tank so have to manually move the magnets to the next glass, otherwise it pulls off the old silicone holding the glass together. But that should not be an issue, it does prevent arm and hand fatigue using a scrub brush. I think once I get used to it, it should be fine. It also keeps me from having to put a lot of pressure against the inside of the tank which worries me about pushing out the glass if the silicone bonds get weak in the older aquarium.
