This is my first smartphone and I really didn't know what to expect-- practically everyone around me has one but I never used or interacted with them, so at first I felt like a cavewoman trying to figure it out, but it is so user friendly. Initially I procured the phone just to step into the 21st century for business purposes. I love the phone design, how sturdy it is, but the ONE thing that really turns me off about it is that the camera does not have a flash like my last cellular device. If it were not for that one thing, I wouldn't be planning to replace this phone ASAP. Nonetheless, it was an awesome value for the money, I had no problems getting it activated, and I greatly appreciate the ability to finally be in with the smartphone 'in crowd'. It's a pretty cool phone for a first timer who wants to get used to some basic whistles and bells, so I really like it. Not at all bad for a phone I scored for less than $40!Read full review
This was my very first smartphone 3 years ago... have had three others since then all with MetroPCS... I absolutely LOVED this phone, it had and did EVERYTHING my more MODERN and expensive smartphones now do, EXCEPT: This wont work on their new 4g network which is FAST and same price, This has NO FLASH for camera, and finally This has no front facing smaller camera for video chatting/calling. But other than that.. and it has very little in phone memory, so you have to save as much as possible to SD card. BUt other than that, I LOVED this phone. BUT: For The REDICULOUSLY HIGH price this guy is asking, you get a more modern, non four year old phone that is almost top of the line with EVERYTHING I mention this one lacks.. And STILL You will SAVE MONEY buying NEW at MetroPCS store or site or bestbuy, because IDK what this listing is thinking.. but this phone is worth about $40 in most places.. it is an OLD smartphone.. one of the first entry level medium priced ones. but for OVER $200? NO WAY man.. You can get a Bran New LG or Samsung for around $150 that does a LOT More stuff and is a LOT more modern (brand new just released/latest greatest tech with all the bells and whistles) for HALF the money this guy is asking for a $40 used phone.. SURELY I did miss something. Maybe I am wrong about the price he is asking.. $240 or something like that? You should always be able to find these for well under $100 in PERFECT condition.. that would be the ONLY reason to buy one, other than sentimental reasons.. But if you gonna spend any more than $129 or $149 range, then get a BRAND NEW version of thsi phone with MORE modern stuff :-)Read full review
The phone has some cosmetic damage but it works great. I managed to download a manual online and the process to set the phone up was quite easy. The sound works exceptionally well and I absolutely love the voice commands. Combining a bluetooth and voice command makes texting a breeze, no typing at all ! I do use the bluetooth and voice command to make every call,so amazingly convenient and simple to use. Accessing my email and the web couldn't be any smoother either. The battery life is very efficient. I am very satisfied with the great value that I have gotten with the LG Optimus phone. This phone , by far , surpasses any other phone that I have owned. I would highly recommend this very multi-functional product for anyone.
I bought this phone because it was in a good price, excellent condition and because i needed to upgrade. For the size of this phone i can't complain i never liked big phones. This has everything you need and it works just like a 4G. I don't Dislike anythings. This phone is very simple to used and i don't have to complicated my life, comparing to other touch screen high def. phones. I recommend this phone and you wont be disappointed. Also this phone is light weight not like other phones that are heavy. :)
This is an excellent, fast, responsive phone with a crystal clear screen once you root it. With the Metro bloatware it is slow and sluggish and has no memory. I would highly recommend the phone but you must root it and remove the bloatware.
This is a very good phone. I had the Huawei Ascend, first. This is far superior. There's not even a competition. It's faster, better battery life, holds more memory and the camera kicks the rearend of the Huawei's. Even has a macro mode for close-up.
This is a good bang for your buck. The phone uses all the androids apps and is great for the first time smart phone user. Everything about the phone is easy to use. The phone has loud speakers so it makes listening to music enjoyable. If the phone is fully charged you should have no problem getting through the day but no longer than that.
I brought this phone for my daughter after she found it on eBay .she loves the phone and is very happy with the purchase.she likes all the .features that the phone has .and also how easy it is to navigate, the touch screen.and last but not least all the android applications it has to offer.
Great phone for a new user as I purchased this phone to join the 21st century. I never had a smart phone before and read the reviews and liked the price. I have had the phone for 3 months now and have had no problems with the phone. It is really easy to use. The phone I got did not come with an instruction manual, which I was able to get from manufacturers website. I would like the battery life to be better, you have to charge it on a daily basis, unless you know how to disable the programs running in the background. Other than that, I have thoroughly enjoyed the phone and the many apps it has.
This phone is a great, easy to use smartphone. I bought this phone without the owner's manual and still didn't have any trouble figuring out the features. This is also the first smartphone that I have ever purchased and I would recommend it to anyone because of the ease of use. The only down fall to this phone is the drain on the battery when using the apps, but then maybe I just need to puschase a new battery?
