    Micro plane takes micro drawer space

    I love this because it does not have a chunky handle. It’s all microplane sharpness and takes up minimal drawer space. It comes with a plastic cover that keeps you safe while it’s in the drawer. It has stayed sharp for 18 years and I bought a second for a new house.

    Good quality, but the teeth were too small for my needs

    This microplane was to be a replacement for the one I recently lost in a move. It looks like the one I had, but the teeth were too small for my zesting needs. It's not that the product is deficient, it's that I couldn't tell by looking at it online that the teeth were too small. This microplane will probably be exactly what someone else needs, but I needed one with bigger teeth. The materials are of excellent quality.

    Super sharp, works wonderfully

    In the past I've used a small cheese grater when I needed to zest. I wish I would have bought this microplane a long time ago. It's so sharp and zest so quickly!

    It works, BUT...

    It works fine, but the edges of the steel are unfinished (not rolled) and sharp. I cut both of my hands the first time I tried to clean it. After filing down the edges it is less dangerous.
