"A great gift for car and motorcycle buffs."- Milwaukee Journal Sentinel "This is a great book for fans of the actor or his vehicles, and it's the most interesting car book issued this year." - The Virginian Pilot "Car and motorcycle enthusiasts will love this book, but so will people (namely baby boomers) who were fans of Steve McQueen. While the book looks at a specific part of the late actor's life - his rides and passion for racing - it also reveals much about the man." - Omaha World-Herald "This book is a fantastic gift to give fans of McQueen as it carefully chronicles his career and the details of his iconic autos and motorbikes. A must-see!" - MonstersAndCritics.com, "A great gift for car and motorcycle buffs."-  Milwaukee Journal Sentinel            "This is a great book for fans of the actor or his vehicles, and it's the most interesting car book issued this year." -  The Virginian Pilot    "Car and motorcycle enthusiasts will love this book, but so will people (namely baby boomers) who were fans of Steve McQueen. The ordering process was easy and fast and the price was good. I did not have to wait long for delivery; the book was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It was listed on the website as "very good" but it actually looked brand new. All in all, very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely use ebay again.

  • McQueen's Other Side

May I confess that, besides being a solid fan of McQueen's acting career dating back to his 1960 TV series "Have gun - Will travel", I bought this book mainly because I recently found that I had raced a car that had once been his. It was a 1957 Lotus Eleven and I was looking for more pictures of it. I didn't find any new photos of it but I did find confirmation of his ownership. The author has done a masterful job of bringing to light the many cars and motorcycles that passed under McQueen's skilled hands in competition and in less intense use, and in doing so he brings to light a side of the man not often known even to his fans. It's a good read for any motor-head.

  • The great Steve McQueen

I have been a fan of Mr. McQueen since I was a kid. I loved to watch "Wanted Dead or Alive" I still watch reruns. I have seen all of his movies more than once. It was great to see his cars and bikes, over the years I was able to buy some of the same models Mr. McQueen owned.. Great photos and the forward by Chad makes the book even better. It was a sad day when Mr. McQueen passed away. This book helps me remember one of my childhood heroes.
