I think the 14lb spring is pre installed but it comes with 2 others. It comes with all the plugs you need for the unused holes too. I took the spring out and replaced it with the lights one supposed to be 7 lb. I would suggest using a vice to swap springs to make sure it goes back together squarely not crooked and also put some lock tight on the bolts. I can’t say how accurate the spring rating is but beware some KO way off

Sender had ground marking where warning light wire would go to so it was returned. Apparently this unit does have terminal for dash light as the listing was recently updated.
