This is for a Church which used the PowerPoint software for projecting the Sunday liturgy to a screen. Although not the latest in releases, it is the last of the PowerPoint software line that allows the operator to view four slides across the bottom of the presenter screen which is important to our operators. I removed the unregistered version and installed this product. It was simple to install, registered as I had hoped, and performs to expectations without a problem. I found that the price, the ebay name, and quick delivery of the product to all contribute to my purchase decision. I would do this again in a heartbeat if I had an additional need. I purchased the Microsoft Office, Home and Student 2010 to use on my main desktop and couple of laptops. I like that this version allows the product to be installed on three machines - which was perfect for me. I am away that Microsoft want to move to an annual subscription model - I sure hate to have to continually buy licenses. I think that in the future - I will not rebuild machines instead just run them into the ground and buy a new one, in an attempt to avoid this kind of fee - but now that I think about it - the new operating systems on a future machines will probably expire - leaving me in the dust.... Maybe it's time to look into Lynx machine......

I had to update my Microsoft Office because my 2003 doesn't load onto my newer Windows 7 computer. Office 2010 is quite different and not as user friendly as the older version but I manage to muddle through it. A simple letter or personal document doesn't need all the new features. I think it is a crime that Microsoft can upgrade you out of all your software so you are forced to buy all new and as far as that goes, my Windows XP was working just fine so why make it obsolete??????? It's always about the money. :(
32bit and 64bit are on my single disc. It was kinda tricky to get the 64bit version to install. Common sense prevailed. You need to run the setup file from within the 64bit folder on the disc. The disc normally defaults to 32bit setup with no choices. The package of products is great, it is not handicapped for my purposes, because of age in any way.
