The last steering upgrade you will need.
Curries HD steering system described in one would would be BEEF. It is one of the more expensive options when it comes to a steering linkage upgrade but by far the best. Each tie rod end on this is replaceable so if for some reason you manage to bend one it is not a big deal. Just buy a new end and swap it in. The handling is responsive and tight. I wouldn't say it is any better than factory new, but if you've got warn out ball joints in your linkage you will notice the difference immediately. This is a direct bolt in replacement for your factory steering linkage. Simply pull the 4 cotter pins and nuts out of the factory linkage, pop the ball joints out with a pickle fork or two hammers and then you are ready to install this steering linkage which is as easy as adjusting the length, ... (If you want to install the steering dampener, which is unnecessary on a properly tuned suspension, you also need to install the provider bracket which is equally easy) if you've got a socket set and a BFH this is nothing more than a 2 beer job. No need to put it on jack stands or take the tires off just crawl under the front and start wrenching away.

Great product
I ended up painting mine to match my Old Man Emu suspension parts. Once that was done, I had my old 1987 stock stuff out and the currie system in place in 20 min. from getting the tools out to cleanup. Quick easy upgrade and running 33x12.5 tires I notice a difference. I don't like having to pay $500 but it's a solid setup and probably worth the money as much as I didn't want to spend it.

Best steering system for Jeep XJ
I wish I had installed the Rock Jock Currie Steering System in my Jeep XJ long ago. I’m sure there are other quality steering systems for a Jeep XJ out there but I think the Currie Rock Jock Steering System is the best one as far as I’m concerned. There is no reason to modify anything in your Jeep, just remove your stock steering, the install the Currie Rock Jock Steering System & that’s it…I wish I had installed the Rock Jock Currie Steering System in my Jeep XJ long ago. I’m sure there are other quality steering systems for a Jeep XJ out there but I think the Currie Rock Jock Steering System is the best one as far as I’m concerned. There is no reason to modify anything in your Jeep, just remove your stock steering, the install the Currie Rock Jock Steering System & that’s it…
