I have an allergy to mascara that causes the skin on my eyelids to become swollen and inflamed with regular use. I stopped using it years ago and have been dyeing my eyelashes, which have whitened with age, instead. This is not only inconvenient, expensive and messy, but made me worry that over time I might be negatively affecting the health of my eyes. After some online research to identify highly rated mascaras that contain natural and organic ingredients, and don't involve animal testing, I settled on this Physicians Formula product. I bought the more economically priced two pack, which arrived swiftly and in good condition. The product goes on easily with excellent coverage, lasts all day and washes off with soap and warm water. I found that the product did not coat my lashes as much as I had hoped. The result I achieved was moderate and very workable for my everyday look. Even extra coats were not effective in giving my lashes a dramatic look. I do love the fact that the product is organic and is very easy to remove.. So I bought this safe sounding fiber lash mascara. I have visible eyelashes again! No they don't look like the model on the box, but they're a darned sight better than what I normally have. Use 2 coats for the best lengthening results. No itchy or teary eyes either.
