The Pioneer AVIC-Z2 7-inch car DVD player is a powerful HDD navigation and advanced multi-media system. Add this entertainment and navigation system to your vehicle for an adventure on every trip for you and your passengers. The AVIC-Z2 offers state-of-the-art technologies, ease of operation, a touch screen display, and a few key upgrades from the very popular AVIC-Z1. The new features include point addressing for precise GPS navigation, 3D landmark icons, more points of interest, and Bluetooth operation. Other new features include traffic icons displayed on the screen with information about traffic flow lanes so you can learn about traffic conditions and make sure you are always in the correct travel lane. This Pioneer AVIC is a double DIN system that offers an all-in-one entertainment and navigation system. The system is equipped with a DVD player to entertain your passengers with quality video on the 7-inch screen. The 7-inch touch screen display offers a 1,440 x 234 pixel resolution for clear images for watching video and using the navigation system. The unit is easy to operate; just touch the icons on the display to navigate the menus. The system is equipped with a 30 GB hard drive and sufficient memory to provide plenty of space to hold your music files and the features needed for convenience and entertainment as well as a GPS navigation antenna to get you where you need to go while you entertain everyone along the way. The system offers an extensive built-in HDD music library and iPod direct control for an improved audio experience. The GPS navigation system offers outstanding ease of operation with the massive Tele Atlas database, which contains more than 12 million points of interest so you can find information on a wide variety of locations or use manual entry to type a specific address into the unit for accurate driving directions. In addition, the system provides information about current road data, such as speed limit posts and traffic conditions, and will recommend the most effective path to get you to your desired location as quickly as possible. The navigation system has the capacity to remember your frequently traveled routes to produce the best results for efficient travel. When you need to keep your eyes on the road, the system offers turn-by-turn directions through the vehicle’s audio system so you can listen to the directions as you drive. The Pioneer AVIC-Z2 offers the option of entering information on the touch screen or using the advanced voice recognition for voice commands. Purchasing a separate adapter for the Pioneer AVIC-Z2 allows you to enjoy the Bluetooth hands-free feature for making and taking calls on the road while keeping your hands on the wheel. The Pioneer AVIC-Z2 system offers two rear view modes that enable you to check the display and clearly see behind you in reverse.
