    I would not buy this again

    Cheap metal in the mounting clip (the part that twists to fasten, on the bottom of the hood skin. Bent right away, had to figure out a alternate fastening method. Would not buy again. Poorly thought out, bad materials. I am an experienced mechanic. I am not some half-wit hack. This piece is not a good quality replacement for an MB stock piece. And I do not love stock pieces. I have replaced these on E-series car before, but this was the worst of non-MB replacements.

    tricky to install with the plastic shims, recommend gluing them in place before installing.

    the ornament looks good, the only issue is the plastic shims tear away when trying to install, the sleeve of the shim needs to be long to hold it in place. without the shims it's too loose. need to see if i can order another set and glue them in place.

    not a good product.

    The emblem holding mechanism has a vary poor quality. It does not hold the emblem firmly. The original emblem i had on this car was much ore steady and held the emblem firmly. I am afraid while driving it may fall dawn due to the air pressure while driving. I am sorry, I will not recommend any one to buy this emblem. .
