    Very thin, very light, VERY sharp.

    This knife is extremely light and thin. Take the belt clip off and it easily goes into any pocket. Very sharp and very rugged. I would give it 5 stars...but the spring assist does not work with one hand, while it is easy to open...it takes both hands. Has a cool lock feature that allows you to lock the blade closed, so no accidently openings.

    SOG SJ31 CP SlimJim Folding Knife Satin

    This is a nice [looking] knife but it's very hard to open. The spring assist doesn't work like on other spring assist knives I own. You need to flick the blade really hard for the blade to deploy all the way open. The thumb stud is uncomfortable and makes your thumb sore after opening knife repeatedly for a few times. Knife is extremely sharp and the tip had "caught" me a few time when closing blade. Poorly designed IMO.

    Not what I thought it would be

    The open assist is terrible. Very hard to open and when it does, the blade does not lock open but springs back. In fact, I have cut myself lightly a number of times trying to open it. Nice design but the mechanics are terrible. Don't waste your money. In fact I bought a different brand and it works very well.

    Great pocket knife

    This was actually purchased as a spare of the identical one I carry daily. In November I thought I had lost my original SOG so I ordered this one to replace it, but as luck would have it, I found my original knife and am keeping the new one "just in case". I don't ever want to be without this knife.
