Very clean and nice console, almost can be passed off as brand new entirely! It came here fast too. However, the controller might be a phony, although I won't blame the seller for this because it is very close to looking genuine with a few minor differences that they weren't probably looking for. Also the fact that it lacks motion control. I'd say get a OEM PS3 controller along with this. Overall, I'd say it was worth it for what you're getting.

Very satisfied with purchase. System came in quite good condition. Top of PS3 had zero scuffs or scratches. Front glossy panels had minimal scuffing. The PS3 was very clean, ran properly, made minimal noise, and vented heat efficiently. All cables and stated components were included as advertised. The only drawback was that the Dualshock 3 was not an OEM, it was a look-alike. Totally expected that though, and the negative was offset by a free game and larger than advertised hard drive. The order was shipped out quickly and arrived earlier than was estimated before ordering. Everything was packed securely and even had fragile stickers on the box which I appreciated. I just ordered the system with 1 controller but there was also a copy of Skyrim in the box with the book which was an awesome surprise! I hope it wasn’t placed there on accident. Console arrived in great condition as described in the pictures. tested the system and it runs great so far. Would definitely recommend!

    Great Product

    The PS3 had 3 issues, first issue was expected which it needed new thermal paste, I replaced the thermal paste. Second issues was the hdmi that came with the system replaced it with one I already had it works fine since then. Third issues was the ps3 power button/eject button didn't light up/didn't work but fixed it by using a new ribbon cable from the motherboard to the power/eject bar on the PS3, all issues was to be expected cause of the age of the system... since then the product worked as intended no more issues at all.. A++ product!

    Reliable, CFW-compatible, and easy to manage

    The CECH-25xx is the last of the models of the PS3 to be able to install custom firmware (CFW). It's a very reliable system (it takes long time before a PS3 Slim undergoes a Yellow Light of Death), which is the main reason I purchased it, but it has other perks, too! Not only does the power supply take less voltage, but it's also lighter, which makes it easier to lug around if you find yourself needing to switch it out for something else every now and again. They're also really cheap! I got mine for <$100, including tax and shipping! Overall, to anybody aiming to purchase a PS3 so long after its official discontinuation, a CECH-25xx is (if you're not looking for PS2 backwards compatibility) THE model to get. P.S. Watch out! Not all CECH-25xx systems can run CFW! If the date code is 0, 9, ...

    Great product, But...

    Pros (compared to Xbox 360): I love many things about 160 GB slim PlayStation 3... The built in Internet web browser. Free online game-play as opposed to subscription price for xbox gamers. More applications available for download. Slim/Sleek design makes for easier storage. USB port allows for a free charge when the controller goes dead. Xbox owners have to buy the necessary parts to make this happen. Cons (Compared to Xbox 360) Slower download speed. Every time you play a game for the first time it has to download, which may take quite a while depending on the game. Less selection for gameplay. My own personal opinion is that the xbox has better game selection.

    this machine is so quiet and stays cool..not like our old PS3 which was so clunky and loud...excellent graphics, very lightweight and easy to store....also holds a lot of memory..so happy I purchased it for my child...

    Console working well.

    Tested it a few days, didnt freeze or overheat, it even survived a blackout. Seems to be in good shape so I have to give a 5 star review. I decided to go back to this version after a super slim version I had fried up it's video card. This slim version never gave me any problems and this time is working well too. From my personal lived experiences, best version released.
