  • WARMANS GLASS 3rd Ed.

As a reference book for the beginner its not user friendly. If you dont know exactly what you have, you'll spend alot of time searching. If you do know what you have, finding the item is simple. For the most part Descriptions lack dimensions. Pictures are black & white and lack good quality detail as seen in fine etched glassware. As for the amount of items listed, it's immense. Short history about each glass company is great. All in all it wont be my everyday reference guide but will be kept with my favorites.

  • must be familiar with Warman's glass

Although I enjoyed flipping through the book, I am too inexperienced to use this book. I bought this because I had a piece of glass that I was trying to find but it wasn't listed. Then I realized it was only Warman's glass. How do you know what Warmans glass is? Definately not for the uneducated glass person.
