  • iMac great machine

iMac in my opinion is the best product Apple has to offer...not so much on their other designed products... but of course that is just an opinion... the only question is how far will Apple support this machine..when it came out it had snow leopard and has upgraded to yosemite and according to website will upgrade to el capitan when it comes out...any computer manufacturer should always support their equipment but then it boils down to the money issue...as for Apple..well having parts made in china, twian, indonesia, etc and then bringing those cheaply manufactured parts here and assembling them and charging an arm and a leg...well you know the rest...so my suggestion find a good used iMac and your problem is solved. Update 12-29-15... These are no more dependable than a PC... The unit has ...

  • Mac Love

A 2009 computer that is still fully functional without issue and acceptable speed? That's an eleven year old machine kicking it with my three year old MacBook and two year old PC. All three are powerhouses, with the PC weakening early on now. I reformatted, installed the proper OS (be aware it is not compatible with the newest OS systems and may require an install disc for the version you want), and my daughter uses it regularly. Speed is of no consequence. The mouse and keyboard are still functional and fine (the keyboard was recently switched out to a Logitech solar one only due to the numeric pad). I cannot complain. For the price, over time, Macs are the worth the investment. In eleven years, I have had at least five to six Windows-based machines that were problematic. This ...

  • Imac is all it is made out to be!

I used ebay for the pricing of course and researched the item and decided that the Imac was something i wanted to move to vs a windows based pc. The item arrived and was larger than expected but i wanted a large screen to view with aging eyes. The speed and display are very good. Adjusting to the different ways to use the apple product are simple, but some will take time to learn. Great item for price point I paid.

  • Will never go back to PC again!!!

Made the switch to Apple in 2009 and got this computer... best decision ever!!! I bought this computer because my PC had slowed down to the point where it was unusable, due to so many viruses! I've had this iMac for 3 years now, and it is still just as fast today as it was the day I purchased it. There have been no problems with the actual computer. The screen is large, clear, and crisp. Everything about it is user friendly. The only downside is, I have it near a window, and sometimes there can be a glare, making it difficult to see the screen if the sun is shining bright. You wont regret your purchase if you buy this computer!

  • Goodbye forever PC!!

I bought a MacBook Air in 2/09 and was impressed with it's performance. My "homemade" desktop was my PC "safety net" It was a 2.66Ghz Quad core with 8 GB of ram and win vista. In 10/09 I decided to get rid of the clutter and go IMac.This machine is well worth the money- Brilliant display, Speedy processor and best of all silent! The first day or so I think my ears rang in my office because it was so quiet. My only con is the glare that comes off off the screen, quick fix is to close the blinds. If you're sitting on the fence, jump of on the mac side and don't look back. You won't regret it!!
