Baby Mario has been kidnapped and must be rescued and reunited with his brother Luigi, in Nintendo's Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Different-colored Yoshis swallow enemies to make eggs, and they use these eggs to attack other enemies and activate switches. Yoshi flutter jumps and transforms into vehicles. You control him as he runs and jumps to reach the end of each of the 48 levels. Solve puzzles and collect coins and other items in your quest to carry Baby Mario back to his parents in the Mushroom Kingdom. Find the right star while collecting items and helpless baby Mario becomes invincible.

When I got the 3DS box there was a very visible bend on both sides which you could not see from the pictures posted in the listing, nor was it disclosed.     Yoshis island

    Yoshi's island is one of the best snes games ever made. The graphics look like it was drawn with a crayon which looks pretty. This would introduce many of yoshi's skills like the flutter jump and egg shoot. Gameplay is platformer and it's challenging if you want to collect everything. While the sound great for the most part, you better get used to baby Mario's cries. The bosses are my favorite part. While they're pretty easy, they're all unique with different strategy. It's too bad that this game is not yet available for the virtual console. Other the gba version, the only way to play this game is to have a super Nintendo. But overall, this is a must have for any super Nintendo collection.

    This game is a must.

    Growing up this game was a must have. I adored the artistic style of the game, as well as the cuteness in the game. Who doesn’t want to play as a Yoshi, a New colored Yoshi every level! Oh and we can’t forget baby Mario. This game has been a fan favorite since it came out on the SNES. But it has been ported over to Nintendo Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS. With a Yoshi’s Island 2 for the Nintendo 3DS! This is a very beloved game. Fun and creative levels. Even as an adult this game still lights me up! Definitely one for the books!

    Best game EVER

    Great graphics, great music/sound (other than baby Mario's crying...), tight controls and amazing level design. This was originally released in 1996 and still plays as good as anything released today. A true testament to the work that went into this title. If you're looking for a trip down memory lane, or are a newer gamer who wants to experience classic 2D gaming goodness, you can't go wrong with Yoshi's Island.

    A top 5 game for the SNES

    If you own a SNES, this is a must. Great platforming and collectibles give this strong replay value. If you like Mario games, you'll love this. This contains a battery based save feature so if the battery hasn't yet been replaced, prepare to replace it soon if it is still working. This will require minor soldering.
