      friend of mine remebered story when she was like 6 or 7 shes 48 now remembered story adn wanted it for her son hes 10 now but been hunting for book and i said would look on ebay and i found it adn got it for her she was the msot exicted person ive seenin a long time when i gave her the book i mad3e a special triop to her house from ohio to wv to give it to her shes very pleased so thank youso much for having taht book available for her to give to her son thanks a million best wishes kim it made me feel good to give to her adn you made it happen thanks and by the way i took book to work also and a custome read it and my boss walkedin and said why dont they talk about the older books for kids like little black sambo and when i pulle dthat book out of ...

      Memories from the past came back with this book.

      The book was a story I read as a child, and could recite most of it as soon as I looked at the pictures. What a great meaning to a story. I am so glad they are reproducing stories from my childhood. I bought one for each of my brothers and sisters after I received this book. We were baby boomers and lived through all these phases. I just love to reminise about our childhood and all the memories we all have about our favorite stories.

      The Story of Little Black Sambo by H. Bannerman

      Little Black Sambo was my favorite story as a child. When my own children were born I was unable to find a copy of Little Black Sambo, so I would tell them the story from memory. When I got started using E-Bay and found a copy I was so excited that I had to purchase it. Now 52 years later I can share my childhood treasure with my grandchildren.

      Childhood memories

      I purchased this because I figured sooner or later someone was going to yell racist and that is not what this story is about. I wanted my grandchildren to know the story and enjoy it as much as I did as a child.
