Bought my first Delta touch kitchen in 2010, whoever designed the first one had to have never grasped that water DOES go places it shouldn’t design was horrible. Now 10 yrs later I treated myself to a new one with Alexa. Home run! Major flaws fixed, finish excellent it’s perfect!

We bought this faucet as a replacement for one that developed a crack in the plastic water supply line and eBay definitely had a better price than the big box stores. The first faucet (same design/style) lasted 7 years, same age as the house. It was not a "touch faucet", as far as we could tell. We chose to install the new faucet without the "touch" module. We like the appearance of the faucet, its height and reach over the deep sink, and the adjustable sprayer. Installation wasn't too difficult, although more space under the sink is preferable. This newer model feels cheaper though - lighter weight plastic head and looser plastic handle. We hope it lasts a while, since replacement is NOT cheap, even from eBay suppliers.

I have had two of these units in two different homes. This is because the solenoid for my first one stopped working and I got a warranty replacement. But then I never installed the new one because I moved to a new house and installed the replacement unit there. The magnet that holds the spigot in place when it is retracted rusted and broke off, so now it only stays in position if you press it into place. The metal braided hose is rusty after 3-4 years due to all the moisture in the area from average use, pulling it out to spray, retracting it to put it away. This happened with my first one also. I do not recommend any of Delta's pull down units unless the hose is made rubber with nylon or plastic braiding around it, that won't rust. As for the touch feature, this is reliable until your batteries go out, then it will occasionally turn itself on. There is a 4 minute timer so if it does turn on by itself, that's the longest it will run.Read full review

This faucet is remarkable, it has a pull out spot, battery backup and an optional power supply for touch capability and a built-in LED to let you know when the water is cold, warm or hot! We love it!
