Nice stories, good characters, not boring.
It is simply a good series; nice stories and characters. Sometimes sad, sometimes happy, but always good stories. For folks that are old enough, we can remember when this first was shown on TV. I have not seen Little House On the Prairie episodes for decades! Glad I have the DVD now. For the most part, it is a "calming" show; one won't have nightmares after watching, unlike some things. I would recommend it for all ages too.

Very good show!!
I bought this season for my brother and sister in law. I have all the seasons myself. The DVD set I have used closed captioning so our TVG cuts out the few bad words, scattered throughout the shows 9 seasons. This updated “digitally restored” version uses Subtitles instead of Closed Caption so TVG doesn’t work. But as a whole the show is very good. One of my favorite shows.

Beautifully remastered and the Special Features at the end are very touching, from both the cast and crew. Dean Butler is a wonderful narrator as he is actor. The Little House is worth every penny and is perfect for family for many generations.
