Find the white closed cell insulation and sound deadner.
The mastic preloaded on the black spooge would come with the backingh paper. The aluminum layer seperates and I swear it is like a plastic mylar. The white closed cell I had bought before but could not find now is orders of magnatude better. This product at best is Vin Ordinair. After triming to shape of placement on 1st piece. I jst tossed the rest into the back of garage. Will be covering over the 1st piece. DON'T DO IT. It is so rare that I take the time to review a trash product. I bought this to insulate GE freezer door to stop water dispenser from freezing. It seems to work. It cut well but was a little difficult to peel backing. It looked nice when installed. I cann't speak to sound deadning qualities but it should do well. It sticks nicely.
