    Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 magnification

    This is a great scope. Mounted it on my AR in .223 and it's super clear glass, the reticle and brightness settings are sweet. Accurate and well built. A little pricier but it is well worth the money.

    What more would you want?

    Very clear optics. The reticle is easy to understand and the built in ranging estimator/scale in the scope should be easily used for average human torso sized targets. The adjustment lever...just lock-tite into position and forget it. If not, I think it's going to back out and drop away never to be found. The scope is tight! It takes some effort to adjust the magnification and I like that. Once you set it, it's going to stay. I experienced no issue with optic clarity on any power. Crystal clear throughout the magnification.

    Gorgeous piece of Glass for the price

    A truly great piece of glass for its price range. Of course, I would have preferred to get a Leupold Mark 6 1-6x24 but not only are they out of stock the also cost 5x as much as this Vortex piece. I'm getting my gunsmith to mount it on my Colt M4 while he does man other modifications on it (disassemble upper, remove hand guard, remove the A-frame front sight, install a free floating handguard, install a Leupold RDS with a 45deg offset for a lefty, and installing a new muzzle device for a lefty shooter to use with my SureFire SOCOM556-RC2 suppressor).

    Excellent

    Eyepiece is cristal clear, with an excellent magnification! Not so easy to adjust the magnifying lever but it’s because the rigid construction and materials which gives me a great confidence on it excellent craftsmanship! Believe me this scope it’s an excellent value and worth every penny I paid for! After getting scopes that cost three times as much on the past, I’m very impress by this one!

    Excellent scope and affordable.

    Along the same concept as the Vortex Viper PST, but without the external graduating turrets. On this scope, there is no need for external graduating turres, everything from ranging to holdover is accomplished on the reticle which is faster and puts you accurately on target. The glass is clear and is perfect for any AR from defense to more long distance precision shooting. This scope does it all which makes it inherently superior to the the plain red dot.
