Released just in time for Halloween, the Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare puts a ghoulish twist on Rockstar's epic tale of Wild West revenge by unleashing a mysterious plague that destroys the frontier landscape and revives the dead. Players once again join the rugged John Marston, only instead of hunting down outlaws, he travels through the sagebrush eradicating unrelenting hordes of zombies, helping out the remaining uninfected citizens, and searching for a cure to the plague.<br><br>In addition to bloodthirsty zombies, the landscape will also be dotted with infected animals and mythological creatures, such as the Four Horses of the Apocalypse, but Marston will have a handful of new weapons at his disposal, including a blunderbuss, zombie bait, torches, and holy water. Single-player action includes new missions and challenges, while new multiplayer fans can take on new modes and four zombie character classes. The Undead Nightmare Collection also includes the "Liars and the Cheats" pack, the "Legends and Killers" pack, the "Outlaws to the End" co-op pack, and multiplayer free roam modes.

    Undead Nightmare Lives Up To It’s Name

    I am a HUGE fan of Red Dead Redemption and thought the Undead Nightmare expansion would be fun. And it was, except for the difficulty. Unlike Red Dead, it is a very challenging game, sometimes frustratingly so. There was much controller throwing going on at times. That said it is fun, just don’t expect the same kind of difficulty you have in Red Dead Redemption .

    Not what the title states

    I got an add on to the game, not the original game that the title suggests. The game keeps freezing up so we cant play much of it. I don’t see how this can pass your meticulous checks. It was a bday gift (Jan) for my son. With the holidays, I have to purchase things early and when he got it, it was 2 weeks after ordering which only left 2 weeks to try it out and his bday was just past the 30 day return mark.

    The intro is a little long, but still fun to play. Hard to get used to some of the controls but once you get used to it, it is fun to play and there is always something new to do.
