Was good except for the last disk. Season 3 disk 4
All the season's with the exception of season 3 disc 4 last disc the show on it. The Birthday Party it played up to close to the end and then it jumped to the ended not showing Fred coming home from the new neighbor's home. After he didn't go back to Barney's Wilma was crying in their home. And then his boss comes knocking and opens the door and ask if they c an come in. Well the disc skips that and goes to the end with all of them around the cake. There are some scratches on it I am going to take it to one of the local stores and see if they can buff out the scratches on that disc other then that they played good. But must confess i don't care for the plastic protection for the discs. I am now on Season's 4 and will continue to watch it. I grew up with The Flintstones and loved them. The cost was a good factor for me and I thank you for that. I do hope I can get that disc fixed so I can watching the whole story. Also I never got to see the Flintstones in color until I was in high school and it had since gone off the air by then. Only being on UHF channels then. But it was and still brings back memories of my childhood. Watching it with my brothers grandparents and my mother. Every Friday night.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I LOVE THE FLINTSTONES, BUT PACKAGING IS A NIGHTMARE!!!
I love sitcoms, I have a large collection of complete series, but this Flintstones series is the worst. Packaging is a neat idea, but was a cheap mess. DVDs are stored in cardboard sleeves. Every DVD I pulled out had glue all over it from where the cardboard packaging was glued together. DVDs would not play all the way through. I tried my best to clean the glue off each DVD. Now all I have are scratched up DVDs but at least they play. I'm sorry but if I buy a DVD series NEW I shouldn't have to clean every disc, nor should I have to own a crappy scratched up collection of discs. Flintstones review
If you're a Flintstones fan, this set is the best value you can find. I previously bought, and returned, the blu ray version (from another merchant). The blu ray version is not full screen and the audio is bad. This DVD set (a genuine collector's item) has all the special features, and the picture and sound are perfect. Flintstones:Complete Series
This takes me back to when I was a kid. Nostalgic and entertaining. Very nice set of DVD's. Some reviews point out that the DVD's can get scratched due to the packaging. The set I received had each DVD slid into a plastic wrap then slid into the cardboard sleeve to alleviate scratching. Okay but...
The packaging is a great idea but many of the DVDs were stuck inside the cardboard sleeves from the factory glue. Sound and video quality are okay but definitely far from great and some of the discs don’t look like they were factory-made. I’m suspicious this is bootlegged.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
