    Up Front in WWII Europe

    Bill Mauldin's "Up Front", gives the men-in the-trenches view point of what life was like for the average soldier and their viewpoint of most officers in Europe during WWII. Unlike the Pacific Theatre, Africa and Europe threw all types of weather at the "doggies" and exposed the many flaws in the U.S. supply system. Mauldin's drawings assist in shedding light on that frailty

    great military cartoons Willie & Joe will make you laugh, break your break, etc. pure genius in action...a terrific testament to the life of a mud soldier in a long bitter horrible war...right up there with Ernie Pyle's BRAVE MEN as a great world war II book despite all the misery of their situation they are really interesting and funny

    War in Pictures

    Mauldin gives you a picture and describes what war is really like from the veteran's own experiences. I fought in Vietnam, wounded which resulted in my USMC retirement. Willie and Joe are timeless accounts and what goes through the mind of the warrior.
