    I like this book for multiple reasons. The author, Dan Poynter, holds may certifications and titles pertaining to aeronautics, the information is very straight forward and specific, and the author covers every aspect of the sport; consequently, providing a complete understandng of how to hang glide and what to expect in all situations and how to handle them. The only drawbacks that I have noticed are really matters of preference, and do not effect the credibility of the author or the material. This material is very informational, which I find stimulating considering the subject matter; however, most readers, including myself, enjoy the occasional application of humor to kind of lighted things up. Of course, this is a serious subject that requires the ultimate respect to avoid injury or ...
