In one position you align the bore-sight dot with your on-board laser dot - perfect! Turn the bore-sight 90 degrees in the chamber - NOT aligned. Turn it another 90 degrees, a different out of alignment. Another 90 degrees, still a different out of alignment. Then a 4th 90 degrees, back to the first - the dots match again. And the variance IS NOT small, i.e. the four positions - not even close at 40-50 ft.
