    Recommendation - Chaucer DVD

    This DVD was bought by myself, curious as to the animation aspect. On viewing I was pleasantly surprised, that such a feat was possible with a subject such as the Canterbury Tales of Geoffrey Chaucer. As anyone that has knowledge of the works of Chaucer and in particular the study of poetry combined with literary works, will know, it requires a greater understanding and interpretation. The animated DVD makes light of such works, with an element of comedy. Although not comprehensive enough to make any reference in literary studies, leading to diploma or degree, it does give the basic gist of the particular tales in modern language and media. As one would expect from animated production, it is easy to follow the story line and makes light entertainment. Overall, an excellent DVD for ...

    A fun way to understand Chaucer

    I bought this DVD as I am studying ALEVEL english literature and in particular, Chaucer. I found this book very helpful as in a fun way, allows you to visualise what can sometimes be a difficult image to imagine. It is also a modern and fun cartoonic version of events which will leave you laughing. Even if i was not studying chaucer, i would definately buy this DVD for the entertainment and great laughs you have.

    A "must have" for my collection!!

    As a massive fan of Sean Bean I had to have this DVD to add to my collection. Irs quite a hard DVD to get hold of and Ive been looking for it for some time so was delighted to find it and receive it from an excellent seller.
