    Creepy movie that kept me glued to my seat!

    I have always been interested in witches down through history; what made them choose that life, what made them tick. This is a bleak look at why some people ( men did as well) might possibly have succombed to witchcraft. Life was brutal and dismal back in the 1600's. Witchcraft seemed to offer a way to transcend that misery - well, that is what witches have believed. The lead actress was outstanding but the whole cast were as well. I highly recommend this movie. It has an authentic feel to it with the stark setting, costumes, and the great acting of the cast.

    It tells a story about paranormal activity , daughter was great, the most disturbing, unsettling, amazing films I have ever seen. I didn't like the scene with the baby!! Film on the dark side, need more lighting.

    Outstanding, but not for kids or people that are disturbed by its evil vs religion folkore (like The Crucible)

    The directing and editing lay out the story very well....suspenseful, yet there are no big holes in the plot - something that plagues so many films today. The photography is top quality and purposeful in scope and effect. The story is far more frightful than most people would guess, though it is not so much blood and gore; it's the palpable course of evil being revealed.

    Five stars for this movie with flawless story. Unlike many nonsense Hollywood witch movies, This is about 1700’s family who were forced out by community for lacking of Christian belief. They moved to plain land next to the forest. Evil nature starts to test on the family members for their faith. The rest will make your soul wish to run away, Great story and an excellent picture..
